The rim is slightly thinner than I expected, which makes it feel more delicate in the hand when sipping. The porcelain has a smooth, cool finish that contrasts nicely with a hot espresso. I'm glad the second sorting only has a tiny, barely noticeable mark.

Picked up a set of these and the slight irregularity in the glaze adds a unique, handmade character that I actually prefer over a flawless finish. They sit perfectly in the hand with that satisfying heft, and the espresso tastes noticeably better in a proper porcelain cup.

The porcelain feels beautifully dense in the hand, and the cup’s classic shape holds just the right amount for a proper espresso. I had to inspect closely to find any flaw from the second sorting—there’s a tiny speck on the rim, but it’s barely visible and doesn’t affect the look at all.
