KURLAND Suppentasse

The porcelain feels smooth and substantial, and the 13cm bowl is the perfect size for a hearty soup starter. I love how neatly the saucer catches any drips.

The two-piece design with the saucer makes this feel much more elegant than a regular mug for soup. The 13 cm cup has a nice heft to it that feels substantial without being too heavy.

The little lip on the upper cup (13 cm across) makes it feel really substantial in the hand, and the two-piece design seems sturdier than most sets I've owned. My lentil soup stayed warm through the whole first course, which is exactly what I wanted.
