Even though it's second sortment, I couldn't find a single flaw—the glaze is perfectly smooth and the rim's subtle curve catches the light beautifully. It elevates a simple soup into something that feels like a proper occasion.

The rim is slightly irregular, but that’s exactly the charm of the second sort – it looks hand-finished and feels perfectly balanced for a formal dinner. It’s the kind of piece that makes a simple soup course feel a bit more special, and the porcelain has that classic, smooth surface that cleans up

The porcelain has a lovely weight to it, feels substantial but not heavy. The small rim chip on mine is barely noticeable and doesn't affect the elegant look at all.
