KPMベルリン 1918-1988 ティム・D・グローナートの磁器

Finally, a definitive reference on KPM Berlin's 20th-century porcelain that doesn't just scratch the surface. The three-volume format makes it easy to navigate the extensive archive of shapes, patterns, and marks. I've already used the detailed index to date a piece from the 1960s.

The sheer breadth of this three-volume set is stunning—I’ve only had time to skim the first volume, but the archival photos and detailed catalog entries already make it feel definitive. The pages are thick and well-bound, perfect for heavy reference use. A must for serious porcelain collectors.

After ten years of research, the depth here is staggering—each volume feels like a museum catalog but with real storytelling. The third volume’s coverage of the GDR era alone is worth the price, and the photo reproductions are sharp enough to study glaze details without a magnifying glass.
