The porcelain has a lovely weight to it—solid but not clunky—and holds a standard egg perfectly snug. Was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the surface is, considering it’s second quality. No chips or flaws I can see.

The egg cup sits perfectly flat on the table—no wobbling at all—and its minimalist shape feels substantial in the hand. The subtle glaze variation on mine gives it a nice handmade character, which makes it feel special for daily breakfast use.

The clean, minimalist shape looks even better in person, and the porcelain feels surprisingly smooth to the touch. Mine arrived with a tiny glaze imperfection near the base, but it's barely noticeable once the egg is in place. For the price, it's a solid buy for a modern table setting.
