Der Name der ZEN-Schalen der KPM Berlin verweist auf die japanische Philosophie des Zen-Buddhismus. Wie schon bei der KPM-Serie URBINO ließen sich die Designer der Berliner Manufaktur auch hier von der Ruhe ausstrahlenden Schönheit fernöstlicher Porzellane inspirieren. Mit einem Volumen von 2,6 Litern ist die ZEN-Schale 4 das größte Gefäß einer vierteiligen Serie und eignet sich hervorragend als Salatschale.
