I was a bit worried the portion sizes might look too small, but the gentle curve holds just enough soup for a satisfying starter course, and the porcelain feels pleasantly smooth and weighty in the hand.

The small deep plate is the perfect size for a proper first-course portion of pasta, and the biscuit porcelain relief adds a nice tactile feel when you hold it. I've already used it for both soup and salad and it cleans up beautifully.
