The ceramic glaze has a really nice matte finish that feels smooth to the touch, and the hole size lets just the right amount of salt out for seasoning eggs. This little salt cellar now lives on our kitchen counter.

The little ceramic top sits perfectly on my breakfast egg cup, and the salt flow is just right for a quick pinch before I take a bite. It’s sturdy and doesn’t tip over, which is more than I can say for my last one.

The salt comes out in a steady, fine stream even with one-handed use, which I didn’t expect from such a compact shaker. It’s become a permanent fixture on my breakfast table next to the egg cup.
