The curve fits my hand really well when I’m cradling it, and the half-sphere shape feels much sturdier than a standard mug. It’s a bit shorter than I expected, but that actually works fine for a strong espresso.

The porcelain feels wonderfully heavy and smooth in the hand, and the half-sphere shape makes it comfortable to hold while drinking my morning espresso.

The half-sphere shape is what sold me, and it holds heat just as nicely for tea as it does for my morning coffee. The height feels just right for a lazy afternoon refill, and the porcelain has a lovely weight to it. I've already ordered a second one.
