Mit ihrem dunkelpurpurnen Dekor strahlt diese KURLAND-Bürotasse pure Eleganz und Anmut aus. Der kräftige Farbton, der zwischen Rot und Blau changiert, war bereits in der Vergangenheit bedeutsam und wertvoll: Ein Zeit lang galt Purpur als der teuerste Farbstoff, der hergestellt werden konnte. Daher wurden auch die Gewänder der Adligen purpurn eingefärbt, um ihrem Träger Würde und Anmut zu verleihen. Diese KURLAND-Bürotasse wurde zusätzlich zum dunkelpurpurnen Fond durch einen eleganten Goldrand veredelt. Auf die Epoche des höfischen Rokoko, das Dekore mit Muschel- und Rankenwerk hervorbrachte, folgte der Klassizismus.
