Die formschöne KURLAND-Bürotasse mit ihrem preußischblauen Dekor wird zum Hingucker auf Ihrem Schreibtisch. Gekrönt wird diese königliche Komposition von einem feinen Goldrand. Dieser besteht aus echtem, 24-karätigem Gold. Um das Edelmetall auf das Porzellan auftragen zu können, wird das Gold gemahlen und mit Öl gemischt. So entsteht eine flüssige Farbe, mit der das Porzellan verziert werden kann. Bereits seit mehr als 200 Jahren fertigt die Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin das Tafelservice KURLAND, das um 1790 von Peter Biron Herzog von Kurland beauftragt wurde. Hieß die Kollektion ursprünglich noch „Service mit antiquer Kanthe“, wurde es später zu Ehren des Herzogs in KURLAND umbenannt.
